    Steroids and aerobic exercise

    Heya guys

I was wondering how everyone balances using steroids while doing intense aerobic exercise, and whether there are any issues with using steroids while doing aerobic exercise? Weight lifting often doesn't have the high heart rates that you see in most endurance sports. I'm only refering to beginner type cycles....nothing to strong.....eg dbol + test cycle.

    Thanks alot

dbol is not great for cardio endurance, Test alone might work for you because it can increase red blood cell count. What are you training for?

Road Cycling. I used to do lots of weight lifting, and had many positive results from just dbol only cycles. At the moment I'm concentrating on my strength to weight ratio, which is lacking, and which would obviously benefit from a steroid cycle. I want to heighten the strength of my legs only, and want the gains to be muscle only....something I found dbol was most efficient at, providing I used low doses (20 mg per day).

Test/EQ would be a great combo.

OK. Why this combination? My primary goal is to increase leg stregth as much as possible, and that the gains are all muscle.

Also, what is everyone's opinion of using steroids while doing intense aerobic execise......are there any risks?

Test/EQ raises red blood cell count which is great for aerobics and the test should aslo be great for packing on some pounds on those legs.

Unless you have a pre-existing heart condition, no.

OK thats great!! It's just I remember reading something about how it may increase the size of your heart, because you heart after-all is a muscle, and that this can be dangerous......is this completely wrong?

    Thanks

Well okay...steroids obviously are not healthy for your heart...so there are always risks. If you are susceptible to certain heart conditions or spasms then steroids could probably excerbate or bring on an undesirable condition.

On another note I think weight training increases Left Ventricular size more than cardio does. Somebody please correct me if I am mistaken here.

I do high intensity interval training on AAS and feel great.

Oh okay. In that case it would seem there wouldn't be any problems....I have no previous conditions, and in any case my heart is in tip top condition from the amount of training I do.

Btw...this may sound stupid, but surely left ventricular increase is a good thing?

I'm not sure how "good" it is but when it occurs as natural as a side consequence of weight training it's nothing to worry about but if it's not observed as a direct consequence of training than it can actually be a sign of cardiac pathology.

Don't cyclists normally use EPO when training?

I understand that EPO is only affective while using the drug, and the few months after, unlike a steroid which, used in the right way can trigger a sustainable increase in muscle mass, and so increase my strength to weight ratio.

My Hematocrit when up from 42 to 49 with 200mg/week test cyp. that would def help with endurance. The same (or better) and certainly safer than EPO which has the same effect on Hmcrt. Basically the same benefit as blood doping is or was... If you take EPO with test you would prob die from blood sludging (like a bunch of cyclist did). Higher dosages of test made feel sluggish and will load you up with water which is dead weight. For endurance events extra weight is a killer for sure even if its muscle mass. I could run sub 5 min mile, but only when I was 25lbs lighter, now forget it. When I got stronger with gear I sacrificed endurance, I run 400m or shorter now but Im slightly faster at the shorter distances. So its a trade off I think. Probably best to use low dose and dont try for much weight and strength gain, but you Will get posititve physiol. effect. Sad to say its genetics and hard work in the end that wins the race.

EQ for endurance, Var and maybe Masteron for strength, and a bit of test to feel good.
