    Bicep workout question

Im getting frustrated with my biceps, my left bicep is noticeably smaller than my left. Its actually not smaller when flexing it, it just doesnt elongate down towards my forearem like my right one does...if that makes any sense. When flexing both biceps are identical size (18.5"). The left one gives the appearance of being smaller when my arms are down due to the fact it starts up higher on my arm.

What the hell can I do to get this arm to catch up to the right one.

I mix my arm workouts up often, but my main heavy exercise has always been straight bar curls. I would then mix in 1 dumbell exercise and one isolation type of exercise with lighter weights (preachers, etc).

I jsut recently have eased up on the straight bar curls due to some rediculous elbow tendon pain, but thats only been for about a week or so.

    Help a brother out!!

That is just your have been put together.

Your one bicep is longer than the other.

You could emphasise working the lower part of your bicep with preacher curls, however i down believe this will make much difference

Try all preacher or iso sets. I use cables to I'm a carpenter so I have that problem quite often due to framing guns, jack hammer, hammer ect.

I just started trying to focus on preacher curls more so than ever. I'll give that some time and see if it makes a difference....it hasnt in the last month.

baseline, you may be right, might just be genetics.

If u set up a preacher in front of the cable and go bout all the way down, and static hold, it should burn more at bottom of rep. Most use it for finishing biceps for peak contraction but I find that if your using a single cable you can gauge which biceps is working at a particular point of movement. Hence compensating for an under development.

its not noticeable to anyone else, but it is to me. My wife says im crazy, but I know theres a difference for sure. Im right handed, right arm is bigger, strange thing is left arm seems a little bit stronger when doing one arm exercises. Im just gonna do more single arm exercises and really concentrate on hitting the left arm good.
