    Need advice on split and cardio

    I'm 36 5'11 247lbs finally found out my actual body fat % it wasn't the 25% i thought it was it's actually 18%. shooting for 10 or less. any suggestions on how I can split up a 5 day work out week with cardio to lose as much body fat while gaining lean muscle and definition as possible? Are the myths that it's bad to do a lot of cardio on the same day as weight training true? Thanks for the advice in advance!

    I would beg you to get some advice about a diet, all of the cardio and lifting in the world won't help if your diet is poop. I can suggest a five day program, but want some more information first. Basic stuff first, perform cardio first thing in the am on an empty stomach, lift in the evening, IMO, I know some guys who will tell you to lift in the am on an empty stomach, not going to disagree with it, just depends on what you are willing to do and when your workout times are, other than that you would want your cardio to be after the lifting, as a cool down. If you post some pics that would be the absolute most helpful, also what is your lifting experience and what are you willing to commit to doing to accomplish your goals? What amount of time do you have to devote to the program? Are you saying that you only have five days a week to workout including cardio, like are you saying you can't lift or do cardio on the weekends?
