Do not waste your time with ABS, you are already swimming every day.

Your training regime could be improved but the point here is another one; do you know how to eat to keep your LBM and reduce the fat?

    Squats 3 times a week

    3 x 10
    5 x 5
    1 x 20

You don't need an arm day, or an an day..

Big compound lifts 3 times a week add kb complexes or hiit.

The rest is what you stick in your mouth.

I'm sorry, I just don't agree with one thing you wrote here.

Maybe if we knew more about her particular goals, but as it stands, she seems to be interested in general fitness and overall aesthetics/fat loss.

So recommending squats three times a week will probably just lead to burnout from her CNS being over taxed.

And why doesn't she need an arm day? sure, they are a smaller body part, but that doesn't mean she should completely neglect them, just not hit them as hard or as long as other body parts.

Fatloss is diet.. All the cardio in the world and eating rubbish wont save you, just go to any gym and look at the fat bastards there running away like hamsters...

She is getting up at 5am swimming everyday running weightlifting and your worried about squats burning her out? ...

Studies have shown aerobics isn't the best for everyone. Hiit is cardio, kb complexes and tabata training are awaome workouts that take less time and slot of the time
    More beneficial...

Why the he'll does any novice need a day dedicated to arms? Well you can figure that one out.. Beginners should stock to compounds, the hormonal changes are far superior as opposed to isolation movements.

Agreed, but we weren't discussing diet. Of course diet is key to fat loss, but we were discussing your poor advice for her to only do squats 3xs a week

She is getting up at 5am swimming everyday running weightlifting and your worried about squats burning her out? ...
Yes I am. Squats three times a week are much more taxing on the CNS than some swimming and 20 min on the bike. I mean that's a total of 1hr of Low Intensity cardio a day. Really not that much.

Studies have shown aerobics isn't the best for everyone.
By all means, post the studies that show cardio isn't good for everyone.

I agree, there are many forms of cardio, and these should be used, but I don't really see the connection from this sentence to what we were talking about.

Sounds like she wants to be fit and be in shape. I'm going to have to disagree: an arm day and cardio will do her more good than "squatting three times a week".
    ^^Bolds above.

That is an old fashion way to reduce weight which will lead you to develop premature wrinkles.

No it is not good because, even though you state you know how to eat, you do not give enough time to your organism to recover.
This will lead you to have higher levels of cortisol and aldosterone in just a couple of weeks, so your metabolism will reduce to protect itself and you will not lose anymore fat.

    Answered your question?

I dont think cortisol downregulates metabolic function.. If anything it is essential for proper thyroid function.

Catabolic effects are a different story...

THis girl doesnt need to be doing all this crap. She just needs a proper diet and to build her LBM. Simple..
