Well I am trying to cut as much as possible over the next 5weeks and I did my am fasted cardio this am for 40min but I was wondering if I should go back tonight for another 45 or is it better to rest. Thanks!

I often work up to hour long sessions, twice a day, 7 days a week during the last month or so before a show.
I'd say do what your body can handle. I wouldn't jump into 2x40 min cardio sessions a day straight up. Definitely work up to it and again if your body is hurting give it rest.
^^In most cases that would be solid advice but the OP stated he has 5 weeks and wants to get as cut as possible. He doesnt have time to work up to it in this instance.
I did another 40 tonight. Low intensity and added a real good core workout. Thanks for the motivation fireguy!
