Ive been doing gym work off and on for about 2 years but am now getting serious with it, i have quite a lean body type and am 6'3, i train my pecs and lats at least 3 times a week and biceps and triceps two times with in the isolation way, then in between them and on the same days as my chest and lat workouts ill do my others like abbs legs traps shoulders and lower back.
Chest: Incline dumbell press 4x8
Decline dumbell press 4x8
Flat dumbell press 4x10
Dumbell flyes or cable cross overs i vary.. 4x10
Lats: One arm dumbell rows 4x8
Lat pull down 4x10
Seated cable row 4x12
Biceps: Concentration curls 4x10
Dumbell curls 4x8
Barbell curls 4x10
21 (7 reps lifting to elbow, 7 reps from above elbow then last 7 all the way) barbell curls
Triceps: Tricep pushdowns 4x10
Tricep overhead extensions 4x8
Dips or overhead raises.. usually 4x10 or 8
i work abbs every other day and work my shoulders, traps, lower back and legs about twice a week.
i take creatine and water before and during my workout and just a protein shake after my workout, majority of the time i work out at night. i also try to do cardio twice a week. oh and to add, ive never had a six pack only the top to have been a little visable, though i do work my abbs quite hard with a range of all different exercises targeting obliques upper and lower but still no results!![]()
Can anyone help or suggest anythin different? or do i have to be patient :/
