Thumbs up tricep's twice a week too much ???

okay so im training naturall at the moment and here goes
monday: chest & triceps (2-3 tricep exercises)
    tuesday: back & biceps
    wednesday: rest
thursday: shoulders & tricep (again 2-3 tricep exercises)
    friday: legs
sometimes i swap thursday and fridays routines about, reason for training extra tricep is its a place i enjoy training and feel i have shaped them better since i train them more also you use abit of tricep with shoulders too dont you. normally hitting the 8-12 rep range.
    cheers

That's fine man IMO. It really depends on the volume as to how often you hit the muscle, but with what you have laid out above and Tris been a small muscle which means fasters recovery, that split is not to much for Tris. If it were me....I would also hit Bis on your leg day.

I personally wud do legs Thursday and give tri's one more day rest . Beginning of week go heavy then higher reps on Friday. I've seen huge results by doing back and Tri"s and chest and bi"d just so there a 100% when u do them. Maybe you won't want to do twice a week. Studies show doing Tri"s after chest your only getting 60-70% . after back you'll get 100% so they'll grow better
