    Bad shoulder workouts

    I have a female friend who has littery dropped 40lb just by changing her diet. She now sits at 117lbs at 5'5". Now she wants to start hitting a gym to get some shape.

    Trouble is she suffers from bad rotator's in her shoulders. Shes tried to workout but it hurts her shoulders. I was going to go with her to her gym to see if I can help.

    Does anyone have any exercises that take strain off the shoulders for her upper body

    Also whats a good 3 day a week womens workout plan look like

    google or youtube rotator cuff strengthening exercises..They are very simple to do and you use light light weight...but if nothing is torn, she will see results in a few months.

    and what exercises hurt her? tricep pull down, normal bb curls, pull ups...

    Front and side db raises really light- make sure she keeps her shoulders down and back. Internal/ external rotations with a light resistance band. There is a "sword" exercise with resistance band that has helped me google it. Stay away from shoulder presses until the rotators and stabilizing muscles are stronger
