bloodwork after 6m0s gh usage

my freind just got his bloodwork bak after 6mos 3ius ed of serostim .any advice is appreicated.he wanted to start t4 but looks like his tsh is already low.on a sidenote he says he hasnt lost much fat yet

igf1 573 (130-330)
tsh .8 (.38-5.5)
t4 15.4 (10.5-20)
t3 5.1 (3.5-6.5)

The bloods look good to me, some may say borderline hyperthyroidism but I doubt those would be the ranges minus the gh

ya me too.he says he doesnt eat like crap but i cnt vouge for tht lol.i and alwasy thought gh suppressed your thyroid so thats why we implement t4?so by these #s does that mean he dosent need t4?

Something else is going on here... His diet is shit and doesnt know it or his training is shit and doesnt know it lol.... 3 iu's of serostim would let me eat far more and keep my bodyfat low... IGF levels are high... he should be seeing a little muscle growth too....

If his thyroid function were suppressed his TSH levels would be high not low.

-hazard you find those levels low from 3 ius?his starting level was low 200s and hes alsmot double the high reference zone


srry guys on a side note i think the main prob and i forgot to mention in my origianl post is that when he started he was mid to high 20s bf % and as ive told him its hrd to notice fat loss when your starting so high.its prob more when u get to around say 15% and started gh than you will notice it alot more cause ur defintion will start to show.the way he is right now he just has too much fat still.

but my main question is do you think running t4 is needed here or will help since his thyroid doesnt really look suppreessed ?

So TSH is not supressed and T3 and T4 numbers look to be about mid range so I see no need to supplement with T4. That being said, he could throw in 100mcg T4 to help shed some of the fat along side the GH.

Probably a low dose of 3iu wasn't enough to suppress his thyroid but it is in some people.

I agree with Imola, nothing wrong with adding T4 to aid in fat loss. It should enhance the effects of the GH also, although it will lower his TSH further.
