    when is the best time to work out?

    morning, afternoon, at night,
    or both morning and afternoon ?

    hey mate.

    this really doesnt matter too much. reason is we all work. and have things to do. so you fit it in when you can.

    if its early morning just make sure you have a shake or meal before training ( weights wise)

    if in afternoon thats fine as few meals would of been consumed

    i guess it depends on the person... but for me. late night workouts are the best for me because im all energized from my meals..

    i tried working out in the morning, and i just got dizzy/light headed.. felt like sht.. I guess from the lack of food but then i tried eating more in the morning and then i just felt like vomiting after doing deadlifts. I need a good meal and then 2 hours later to workout... thats just how my body operates...

    but i know some people who say they work better in mornings.. but it just aint from me. you gotta find what works best for you..

    I much rather workout in the afternoon with more meals in me, I always feel better, get a better pump, strength is up.

    i guess it would be better to ensure you get as much sleep at night time. There has been studies to show thats where you release all your Growth Hormone. However, im not sure if this also takes into count that your test is highest when you wake up. They both have their percs but all in all it really dsnt matter what so ever. I like afternoon so i know i had at the least 1200-200k cals

    not true, test is highest around sundown, as well as lowered cortisol

    There really is no bad time....just as long as you get your workout in. I find that I'm more motivated in the morning. After work, the kids keep me too busy.

    i agree. My work outs suffered when i tried to do them before work even with a good meal first

    Evening for me....That way I can do fasted cardio in the morning. Also I have enough energy after my meals throughout the day to do my workout in the evening.

    Agree with everyone. The best time is when it fits into your schedule perfectly and you can establish a routine. If you get that routine down and make it a part of your lifestyle....well, that is the best time and you will achieve the best results with the pattern.

    whenever you can make time for it, and develop a regular routine.

    Best answer in the thread right there! I have the "rule of three". Meaning I dont work out til I have at least 3 meals on board minimum. During the week my schedule is very rigid, always train late afternoon. Weekends I like to get in a bit earlier.

    agree with everyone else.. whenever you have time in your schedule and can get the most motivated. if someone says morning is the best because of higher strength or whatever they may say, but youre not a morning person and cant get motivated that early, morning obviously isnt the best time for you to work out. there is no best/worst time to workout.. just whenever you feel best and have time to put into it and not rush is the best time for you

    Best time is when it fits your schedule bro... But if I could choose I would go with PM workouts after work, around 5:30-6. That way I can get a PWO and still PPWO after.
