How many of you only use Home Gym?

I havent belonged to a gym in decades...I like the convenience of working out, right to a shower in seconds.

Ive have old style nautilus before, but about 10 yrs ago bought the Bowflex and using it ever since.

If you train at how what equip you have?

I workout at my house and I've gotten lots of gains. I have a bench, dumbbells, barbells, chinup bar, a dip bar, and a couple other things, the only thing I really need is a rack for squats other than that I workout in my own house with good results. I don't like equipment such as total gym and stuff with cables, Dumbbells, and barbells are much more effective especially for strength, plus dumbbells and barbells require you to stabilize the weight.

I agree about the free weights...just dont have much room. Will prob pick up some dumbbells...I had a full Olympic York set since I was a kid from pops...sold those many years ago, wish i had them now.

The bowflex is ok, just dont have time to get to the gym.

I work out at home. I know dumbbells take up a lot of room and I have found a quick simple fix. I use interchangeable weider dumbbell bars. That way I could put any weight on my dumbbells that I want and just have weights set up on a rack elsewhere

Home gym also here. Bench. Bars. Nautiluis set. Just the things I need. Saves allot on gas and gym membership and so on.

Ya my room is small and my bench takes up alot of my room lol Especially when plates are laying around the room it gets to be a hassle having to keep putting them back.

I workout at home and mainly do cross-fit type workouts. Rings, Pull up tower , tires , sprinting, jumping, bounding, some dumbbells.
I have found that the convenience can sometimes be the biggest downfall. I mean who wants to go outside, or in the garage and workout, and sweat like crazy. I get it done because I know I need it, but I have found that its harder when I'm home. The gym provides the "environment" and in some cases competition to really push me. However you might be different. Space is usually an issue which is why Ive utilized my large backyard and garage for At Home Fitness.
