Can any1 tell me if amino acids are a good source of putting weight n muscle on?? I already take trib n ZMA n they help... But want more.... My shake has amino acids in them just wondering if taking a higher dose is better

I personally have used BCAA's in the past. currently i decided against getting anymore. I'm thinking not necessary at this point.
I find BCAA's to be great while doing fasted cardio, and cutting, seems to keep me less catabolic.
I dont think they are necesary either. If you have a good protien powder it will probably have a few grams in it anyways
I don't believe in it. Used to use them while cutting but I don't use them at all now. Still have half tub of xtend too. There's just not enough research and I've never seen any difference or felt a difference when taken during workouts.
For gaining weight/muscle? No.
For preserving muscle at times? Possibly?

I had a tub of just bcaa's and i drank it during my workout, could really feel my body absorbing it during intense cardio n supersetting
