Quick question! Is it normal.....

This was going to be my first cycle. I was told I have alot to learn before I get started. So I only took the first injection. Well that was sunday evening. I wont even get started on how intense the pain was. The injection was in the middle outside part of my left glute. Oh and it was 1.5cc of test prop. The problem is even still the tissue where my spine meets my hip boned ( At least 6 inches from the injection site) is tender to the touch. Also my left glute is stilll very swolen. No discoloraton or redness. However I did get a nasty fever the first night when I was going to sleep. My body still ached the following day. Is any of this normal?

It's not uncommon for 1st timers to experience discomfort. This is more than likely caused by an unsteady hand. The needle is like a blade and if you're moving around too much you're basically cutting the muscle inside. Muscles dont like that and will flare up. It should go away in about 3 days. If not, you should get it checked for infection.

I was going to take another yesterday but alot of the folks on here said to do some reseach so I didnt. its been 3 days and still have pain up to 6-8 inchs from the injection site. Its not near as painful but still tender to the touch. Its also quite swollen. Thats what has me worried the most.

If it's slowly getting better, you should be fine - as Aus said, likely just trauma from needle shaking around. That being said, you do need much more research. If you read up on test prop you will learn that it can be very painful for virgin muscles. Had a buddy learn that the hard way, injected prop into his virgin quad, couldn't walk for a week! Good luck bud!

yes its quite common to get a slight fever its called test flu its your body fighting to find balance again, and yes prop can cause some serious PIP although it never has for me

1.5 cc? how is your prop dosed? and you do realise you need to pin at least EOD with prop?

Keep an eye on it. If it doesnt get red or change color and the pain slowly gets better you will be fine. Youe next injection try to have somebody else do it that has some experince with injections and I bet it wont hurt as bad.

Shooting in the glute can be tricky your first time, it's an awkward angle on top of the fact that your probably a bit nervous becasue, well lets face it, your stabbing yourself essentially lol.

Tips: After pulling your gear out of the bottle switch to a new needle, make sure everything is sterile, plunge slowly let your muscle absorb it as you plunge, wash your hands before, realx when you inject (flexing your muscle while injection will casue more pain during and after), use a steady hand or a freinds steady hand.

gravity will pull the oil down through your muscle. Did you change the needle out after you used it to draw out your gear? did you massage your injection site after you unloaded? is your gear dish detergent or is it legit? make sure you are injecting in the correct area i use a 20gauge needle at one inch and hit my glute and have no pain at all. Everybody gets the knots though, thats your shit sitting waiting to be absorbed

I draw with a 21g, and that looks like a knitting needle compared to the 23g 1.25" I use to pin glutes.
Couldn't imagine using a 20g ha.

Guys they are still harpoons. Draw with an 18-20 ga and pin with a 25-27 ga 1". Smaller gauge requires a slower push, which is what you want, and you won't even feel the needle.

Just finished a 10 week Test-E cycle there and rotated between glutes and quads.
For HCG and MT2 just doing SC shots in my stomach.

I have heard some advise against this, what are your thoughts?

I always have my girl massage super hard after she pins me with a 20g 1in needle, sounds more like you guys think of it as stabbing haha or leaving "bullet holes". I think that it helps from it forming 1 massive deposit under the skin and helps to distribute it through your muscle tissue. If i dont do that then it just forms a knot and usually bruises and is painful longer. I think the massaging really helps with absorption, distribution, and pain.

haha man they all look like fn chop sticks to me i cant bring myself to do the pinning i gotta have my girl do it. i dont even feel it really unless her hand shakes or something dumb like that. I would rather use a bigger gauge needle and have the gear go in faster and have the fn needle out of my ass cheek thats what bothers me is knowing the needle is in there!
