    shoulder press

    when you guys do your sholder presses do you stand or sit? i find standing works my serratas(sp) better than sitting. any input would be great

    I'll do seated military press for two weeks, standing the week after. Then back to seated again, and repeat.
    I like standing because you rely a lot on proprioceptive aspects, eg. not falling over while pressing etc.

    also maybe tryin like a spilt every week like max effort and a speed and just rotate it... works well

    I do seated DB press, then standing barbell press.

    Seated Smith when going heavy. Otherwise, i mix seated seated db's and standing bb every 2 weeks or so.

    My gym has a seated cable shoulder press that I prefer to use. It's just like seated dbs but easier to go heavy with.

    thanks for the replys. sometimes when i switch it up ill feel it in front lats/ serratas. is the normal or is my technique off?

    I generally switch out seated bb press and seated db shoulder press, sometimes I do standing.
