    2nd cycle var + test. advice please

    hey guys, i hear lots of wonderful things about var. perfect drug for the one whos seeking that "beach body" look. i did hear though that to achieve optimal reults requires pretty high dosing due to it also being a very mild riod. just was wondering if anyone could tell me what dose i should be taking if running it with test E 250mg 2x wk. what would be the recommended ed dose to achieve optimal results and still be safe considering this will only be 2nd cycle ever. also what would be the standard pct for this cycle.
    stats: 38 yo, 180lbs 20% bf.....thanks

    Stats look good. i would suggest 50-60mg ed for 5-6 weeks.

    Still need an AI if you dont have one and standard PCT of Nolva and Clomid would still be great!

    50 mgs per week is the bare minimum IMO. At that dosage, gains will be mild but solid.

    Anywhere in the 50-100 mgs per week range for 6-8 weeks is optimal based on my experience

    thanks noles, yeah i forgot to mention that 8 weeks on the var was my plan and 12 on the test.....should i do the var for the 1st eight weeks or the last 8 weeks???? what do you think, or what does anyone think for that matter, thanks

    Var is noted for it's muscle hardening capabilities and how it "dry's you up" so I would always run it back part of cycle. I wouldn't start at 100mg though. Maybe start at 60mg and bump up if you are feeling good

    thats a great point, make sense now that i think about it to run it on the back part.....thats just what im gonna do...thanks

    I was planning on running this aswell, but i feel i want to stay away from the test. For the type of training im doing i cannot put on much weight or bloat up with water. I am only interested in LBM. I know anavar on its own can shut you down, but if i run it with a low low does of test such as 250mg a week. 125x2, that will shut me down anyways. what do you guys think? ive done 4 cycles in the past but my goals have changed. test ballons me up and i dont want the sides, considering i have a slight case of gyno in the right nipple from years ago.

    new guy33 you should test weeks 1- 12 ,
    var weeks 6-14 then start pct.

    var weeks 6-14 then start pct.
    You should start your own thread rather than hijack this one.

    But to cov3r a few things, using test as a base is recommended. Yes test shuts you down but you are replacing test with test. Therefore if you were shut down by var, you would have no testosterone to replace this. If you add in test, you are essentially replacing what is lost during the cycle due to the shut down.

    An AI, lowered sodium intake, and adequate water are all easy ways to avoid bloat on test. Have you ever run an AI with your cycles?

    Sorry for jackin, I have but its so hard on my joints, and for boxing/martial arts, would be really tough. ill start another thread. Thanks

    Not sure if your asking me or asking sagat, but if your asking me, then yup, the beachbody look is exactly what I'm trying to achieve in time for next year. Not afraid to say it...lol
