Raloxifene Duration? Gyno Reversal....

I'm on Raloxifene 60mg/day along with a letro gyno reversal.
I've been on the Raloxifene for just under a month. I have 3 months worth of medication, but will get more if needed.

My question is - how long should I continue the Raloxifene at 60mg/day?
3months?
6months?
9months?

I was thinking that if by 6 months I don't see any improvements, then it's safe to say surgery is my only option.

Please give me your advice and personal experience with Raloxifene, if applicable.

KIM, Some folks have reversed gyno in as little as 4 weeks. Some took up to 6 months or more. Lots of factors. I don't think you'll find a situation close enough to yours for comparison. Everyone is different.

I guess I'm just trying to use a reference range of duration used, as I don't want to take this stuff forever.
Plus the cost is damn expensive!

I understand. Have you noticed any improvement? Most notice improvement in 4 weeks.

The only improvements I've seen in the 3.5 weeks is all pain and tenderness has gone away completely. So I'm assuming this is a sign that it is working! Fingers crossed! Aesthetically - nipples are still puffy and small lumps behind them. My endo will only prescribe me Tamoxifen, I had to purchase Raloixfene on my own (from a clinic for a high cost, I need my name on the bottle) and I want to try and convince her that Raloxifene is better so I can just pay my co pay for it. Any suggestions? Maybe bring in two med articles?
