    Advice on Anavar

    Hi.

Female, 23 yo, body fat around 23%.

Been eating approx 500 calories under my TDEE for quite some time now and almost nothing has happened. I think I've hit a plateau, that I can't find a way around. I've tried eating low carb and carb cycling to see if it changed something, but nothing. I strength train 4-5 times a week and try doing 10 minutes of HIIT training as often as possible (bad knee).

So I'm looking to try a really good fat burner and I've already tried Clenbuterol which had no effect what so ever, on me (maybe the product was a fake?).

Will Anavar be the answer? Does it even burn fat or does it only build muscle? If it only builds muscle, will the amount of muscle build, have a significant impact on fat?

If you don't think Anavar is the answer, do you have any other suggestions?

Hey young lady ! To start 23% bf on a young female is a sign that you are healthy eat good and since you are in your childbearing years. A good sign. I also understand the desire to decrease that %. As the father of a young girl ( your age )that is obsessed with being fit I truly hear your quest everyday. Thank God I'm that close with my daughter that she has no issues with talking to daddy-0. But hey what are your stats. What's your diet like, and what's your exercise program look like.

I would post your full diet in the nutrition section and let the pro's look it over.
Anavar is more of a finishing product and is not going to get you the results.
You are still young and can easily naturally cut your bf% by diet and exercise.(unless something is medically wrong)
Don't waste money on products-invest it in food.
Try different things like exercise first thing before eating.
    Try carb cycling.
Eat 5 plus small meals a day
Lots of natural things you can try it boils down to how bad you want it.

Hi tectime. Thanks for your reply. At the moment I strive to eat 1500 calories a day, my baseline is around 2000 calories so I always eat less than that. I'm 173 cm tall and 67-68 kilos, eat around 100-120 g of protein a day, around or less than 100 g of carbs a day. Diet's mostly cottage cheese, eggs, greek yogurt, vegetables, nuts, I rarely eat meat. My exercise program is atm 2 exercises for each muscle group 3-4 sets of 6-8 reps maximum weight. Always free weights.

Thanks derekkpapa1, I've been thinking if somethings medically wrong, I've had my metabolism checked at my doctor's and it's fine. Does anyone know if contraceptives or anti depressants can affect the metabolism badly?

Your wt/ht. ratio is good! Your diet and macro calories are good. 500 under maint. Good ! Not too much and enough to do the job. How's your water intake and cardio regime like? But really at your ht/wt and age don't let the number 23% bother you much. How long have you been working your routine? Sometimes alittle more water intake and alittle more intense cardio is all it takes at 23yrs old to drop that bf% enough at your ht to trim and lean out. Real clen or real var can do the trick but for females there's other healthier options.

And yes both can affect metabolism rates depending on the type (contraceptives) and the way they react to help control depression. But you can manipulate your metabolism around their effects by as easy as eating small portions of the same amount and kind of food you've been eating more often through out the day. Planning the times thru the day to keep the fire fueled.

I could be massively wrong about this, but I've read over and over that it's highly counterproductive to be on hormonal BC and take any kind of gear--certainly anavar. I am so glad I got off that crap a year ago.

I know of at least one anti depressant that will blow you up like a puffer fish.

Start a Thread with what you eat and get this started would be interesting to follow along
