Your head is playing tricks on u. (I have the same issue) I can always pick something I don't like about my self and stress over it.
I have recently learning that if you pre exhaust your chest with flies it will help biuld a awesome chest.
I will usually start with cable flies until my chest is burning like crazy. After that I will get a drink and hit my normal chest day.
I believe nach3 suggested it to me and I will never shy away from doing it! Best of luck, if u do it right it will kill and make for a real intense workout.
