Dumbbell presses, up right rows and lateral raises all work. I hit shoulders with both high and low reps.

The most important thing IMO is to do exercises that hit the front, side, and rear portions of the delts. A lot of guys tend to neglect the side and rear delts, and end up with horrible proportions.

i always start out with heavy dumbell military presses, then lateral raises and upright rows. i switch up the military presses between barbell and dumbell too. for some reason, at the end of every shoulder workout, i max my delts out on the smith machine with behind the neck presses. its worked out well for me. my delts (front, rear, and side) are by far my best feature.

It may sound odd but I like to start with rear flyes or side lat raises.

i wouldn't recommend doing behind the neck presses, always heard it messes up your rotatorcuffs(sp)
