What day do you do db pullovers on? Chest or back?
What day do you do db pullovers on? Chest or back?
There should be an option for both.
I find if I keep my arms locked with just a slight bend then it targets my lats,
If I allow the bend to increase as I move the weight it hits my chest more
You would do the same excercise (different grip) twice in the same week? Or different weeks?
It depends - If I've gone heavy on deadlifts and weighted chins I like to do some pullovers supersetted with shrugs to finish off.
But I'll probably only do that 1 in every 3 or 4 weeks
Same with chest really - After the basic heavy compound movements, there are so many different exercise to do that I'll pick and choose between them.
I've done pullovers for my chest then 2 days later done them for my back - you can definitely feel it on your chest but by minimising the strain on your chest your effectively working you back harder.
I do them with back day. Because I do widegrip pullups first then last I do pullovers. Pullovers Hit them from a dirrerent angle than pullups.
SO its kinda like any other muscle to me. If you start working it out you might as well finish them off with some heavy weight.
I get a spoter and go till failure. I have seen a big gains all ready.
I do them both..slight bend in elbows for chest and straight for lats..
chest. get more pump with chest
I do them as my last set on chest. I can feel it really stretching my chest out.
boys in arnolds day did it to stretch out the chest and ribcage, but i'm pretty sure the lats do most of the work on em.
i don't really feel it much in my chest even with arms bent. definitely feel it in my lats though.
I do them for both. At the end of my chest routine to stretch out the chest and just before starting my back routine.
Some times, I do deads, narro grip chins and then DB pull overs for lats. When I do that, I really feel it hit my serratus.
