    Legs question????

Ok guys here's my question How many reps and and sets should be done?

    I was thinking like

    Squats 4set 10-12 reps
Leg press 3 sets 10-12 reps(feet close together)
Leg extension 4 sets 10-12 reps
Leg Curl 4 sets 10-12 reps

Is that good amount of work for the hams, or do you guys think I should lay this out better

    LOOK at your legs...

What area needs the most work?

Most likely (in most trainers), no offense, it's the hamstring.

3 exercises for quads really isn't necessary.

IMO...you only need ONE good exercise for quads (IMO squats...unless you've an injury)... and 1-2 hamstring movements

    IMO cut down to:

    Squats: 5 sets
    Leg-curls: 4-5 sets
    Stiff-leg-deadlift: 4-5 sets

BTW: if your hams AREN'T lagging... then one exercise per area would suffice:

    i.e.

    Quads: Squats: 5 sets

    Hamstrings: Leg-curls: 5 sets

The most important factor isn't the number of exercises...rather, it's the amount of intensity you can generate

very true.. and if you can learn to do long ranged lunges like really long strides and drive up w/ your heal you can feel it on your upper ham and ass which is great for conjoining the 2...

thank you for quick reply! I don't think really any part of my legs are lagging but I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything right. My main concern is that I want to get a great leg workout
