Question working out twice a day...

i know this isnt the right forum but
i know most people suggest that you need to give your muscles rest to grow and days off, etc.
why do i hear of people having success with hitting the gym twice a day?

bro if you got the time hit it all at one, stay in their for a couple of hours and do two body parts, i think a lot of the twice a day guys do one body part during each session

after an hour or so i heard certain levels are up and its just overtraining so it might be beneficial to go home and sleep some and then hit up the gym again later and ya will be recuperated to do another body part

i've heard of a.m. and p.m. workouts and never tried them. i would think it would be better to split up a 3 hour workout to keep from overtraining.

You don't want to be in the gym more than 1.2 to 1.5 hours at a time so split it up daily.

am pm splits involve doing an upper body part in one session and a lower body part in the other, which do not interfer with rest and recovery.
