Is it possible to hit legs and shoulders/traps in the same workout? Everybody seems to start out doing legs/shoulders, but do you hit a point where you need to do them seperately? Throw out some opinions...

depends on your routine, i work legs only on my leg days, i find i focus better on my lifts this way, but this works for me and my specific goals, it may be different for you.it is what works for yourself
I couldnt find an ounce of energy even if I tried on Lege day. Leg day needs its own day IMO. If you can do it, by all means! Nothing is written in stone.

Those are my thoughts as well, I was going to try legs/shoulders yesterday, but once I finished deadlifts I had to struggle to push out an additional two calf exercises. I personally don't think it is possible unless you are trying to maintain rather than growOriginally Posted by abstrack

i cant do anything else on leg day but legs...ive even tried to throw forearms and abs in there but that doesnt work for me
you also do get alot of shoulder/trap work from just doing deadlifts so you are getting some shoulder work indirectly
