How much rest should I give between workouts

I have been lifting weights 6 days a week. 3 days upper body and 3 lower. Is this to much.

well, 6 days a week is quite a bit, but it all depends on your level of development. we need your stats. age, height, weight, bf%, training experience, cycle experience, etc. without any of that, we can't help you.

also, outline your general training routine. just a basics as to how many sets per bodypart and what bodyparts on what days.

I always make sure i have plenty of recover time. I also work certain muscles one day and different ones the next (with cardio included). so basically if i work my chest and biceps one day i split everthing else up throughout the week and my chest and biceps are pretty much getting about a week or so to recover. And i will say since i started doing it like this and having more of a routine i have definetly gotten stronger and im putting up a lot more weight than i use to. I think its better to do it that way instead of working on your whole upper body one day and the lower body the next. Thats just my opinion though.

seems like a bit much. Even with the DC method you're only working the entire body 2x in like 8 days or something like that. I hope your protein intake is high. Like 2g./lb of bodyweight. I'd drop it down to 2 days for both upper and lower.

please structure your split so you're not training your ENTIRE upper body one workout. I don't think I clarified this is my prior post. Something like chest/tri/delt, back/bi, legs. Or something similar like chest/bi/tri, legs, back/delts.
