    How to start alone?

I got some equipament, but have no instructor around nor any practise. I found many sites with description of exercises, but I need to know how much weight I should start with in each of them and how gradually I should increase it to avoid breaking my spine...Could you suggest a few links for that?

You should get a trainer if you are a noob, a cheaper way could also be going to a gym and just watching what people do. Find someone who compares to you and watch the type of exercises he does and the weight he uses.
