"having abs" is dependent on body fat, if your bodyfat is low enough you'll have good abs, nothing to do with specific ab workouts IMO

pilates will stretch out and tighten the core muscle group, even with too much BF to show a 6 pack, you will show a shape..
as for 8 or 6 or 3 minute abs.. no, abs are built in the kitchen..

Understood; thanks for all the replies. I was just wondering your input on a good, effective ab workout that won't take a whole long time to do each day. I understand that abs are made in the kitchen and diet/bodyfat are the key factors.
