    Belly Fat

Okay, so I've read tons of different articles and each one seems to offer different advice; so far the advice I've received in here seems to be the best, so here comes my question:

I am muscle toned pretty much everywhere except for my belly and on the outsides of my pecs (where they meet my armpits). I have my first shipment of gear heading this direction, but I'm also wondering HOW to lose this STUPID belly fat?!

I realize doing a million crunches per day only strengthens the muscles under the fat (not a huge belly mind you, just enough to be annoying) and I have even changed my diet some. Anyone know the BEST method, tried and true? Any diet suggestions?

It also seems like it will be hard for me to gain mass if I'm not taking in enough calories to do so. Most methods for losing fat I've seen require me to increase meals, lower calorie count, and cardio my ass off. Is it just me or is this a weird catch 22??

    HELP!

    Thanks

    Drew

You can't do both at once. Either

    1. Burn the fat and maintain the muscle as best as possible

    or

    2. Build some mass(muscle) and let the fat be

of course, with gear, maintaining mass while cutting is easy and sometimes you may even gain a small amount of LBM (but it's more of an added bonus, not an expectation). On the other hand, doing a clean bulk with certain types of gear will allow you to put on significant mass and yet burn some fat (also a bonus, but not an expectation). All in all, you either bulk or cut, and focus on the goal of either adding mass or burning fat, but not both.
