Gym in Milan

I am living in Milan and been looking for a gym. I'll be here for 9 months. Every place I have seen is out of my price range. Tonic Gym 720 Euros/year= about $1000 a decent deal but I need to pay up front so thats costly. Down Town Gym I like but 210 Euros/mont= $300/mo. Get Fit Gym is 560 Euros for four months= abbout $750 for four month. Was really hoping to keep it around $100/month or so, but it really does not seem to be possible.

Anyone know a better deal here?

there has to be a gym for less than $100 a month, i couldnt imagine that every gym is over $300 month. what kind of place are you looking for?a country club like gym? there has to be a hardcore gym somewhere

Hope you are right, but I can't find one. Would be better if I were more fluent in Italian. The places that I have been to are not only expensive, they dont have weights that are heavy enough for my routine. I was told that there are only 12 gyms in all of Milan (hard to believe). Looking at the local guys around here, it might be true. Also, part of the problem is the weak dollar, but even so...
