    Hello!
    I have a couple of questions, but first things first a little history:

    AGE: 22
    HEIGHT: 5´11
    WEIGHT:187, I was near 220 but decided to shed some fat before doing a cycle.
    BODYFAT %: Anywhere from 12-15%
    LIFTING EXPERIENCE: First time ever I touched a weight was back in 2002, when I traded my playstation for a weider bench set and have been hooked ever since. At first I trained like a bodybuilder for a few years but gradually my interest steered towards strength and in 2005 I began training for strongman competitions. Things were going great but then I got what is commonly known as jumpers knee or patellar tendonitis. And being the fool that I am I kept up heavy training while trying to ignore the pain.
    Of course that didnt help so I finally went to an ortho and got an MRI scan done. Turned outI had a micro tear on my patellar tendon.
    So since early january 2008 I have been rehabbing my knee but at the same time strengthing my core and also trying to get some pressing power. Luckily my knee is healing nicely and I am feeling no pain. '
    I have been always telling myself that I have no business doing AAS until I have a good strength base and now I feel that I am nearing that base. In a few weeks time I hope to deadlift 550 and bench 315 at my current bodyweight(raw of course), squatting heavy is still out due to my knee.

    CYCLE EXPERIENCE: NONE

    I have read up alot for a few weeks now on different cycles and AAS in general etc. and was thinking of taking the plunge sometime mid-late may 2008. That is of course if my knee is 100%, no sense in doing a cycle while injured. I have a whole bunch of strongman competitions coming up beginning July 1st and basically doing one comp a week from July 1st onward( I want to gain more experience doing comps)

    Now I know the general rule is to do a Test E cycle only if you´ve never done a cycle before, BUT considering I will be training heavy and hard and doing competitions aswell would it be acceptable doing the Novice Cycle #2-1 as shown on the main page of this site?
    I know the reasons why not to as a noob, but I also see benefits from this cycle due to the joint lubricating effect provided by the Deca.
    I would like to hear everyones opinions and possible alternatives!

    220 to 187...shredded "some" fat? I'd say a lot, I hope only fat.
    This is a great first post, an example for all noobs.
    I''ll take a look at that standard cycle, can't remember it now, then I'll be glad to help you.

    Here I am.
    I suggest a Test + Dbol cycle as a first one, don't bother with deca yet, just see how your body reacts to test, you'll be really gratified from the results of this simple stack, if your diet is in check.
    Nolva during cycle is taken only in case of gyno, so IMO there is no absolute need.

    Exactly what he said. Great post to start off with, gives us something to work with when trying to help you out.

    You will love a dbol/test cycle. My first ever was a straight 250mg/week sust cycle and I packed on 20lbs in 8 weeks with a very small gain in BF%.

    You could easily handle 400mg/week of something to the likes of Test E and 30mg/day of Dbol and you would blow up. Something like 10 weeks would be good for the test and weeks 1-4 dbol.

    Definitely keep an anti-e on hand in case your nips start to "blow up" as well! Also make sure you have your full PCT on hand before you start your cycle. CHEERS!

    I hope so too that its only fat... I havent gotten any weaker, in fact I have gotten stronger.So thats nice. No pics at the moment. Can´t wait to EAT like a man again...The process of losing weight really sucks..

    So Deca is definatly out huh? Guess I can live with that then. Was just really curious to try it out. I basically have anything at my disposal (Good source) So what do u guys think of running 2 types of test in the cycle, like Cyp and E? Any real benefits? Or just a waste? I´m thinking its a waste but thought I´d ask.

    So going with your recommendations something like this12 week cycle)

    Weeks 1-4: D-bol 30 mg ED
    Weeks 1-12:400mgs Test E or Cyp, administerd 2x a week no?

    PCT, well I must admit, I am utterly confused with this.. There are so many different ideas and theories out there I could´nt really pin point a "tried and true" method for PCT. Or maybe I was too feeble minded to understand.... Any Ideas?

    Your cycle seems ok now, maybe I'd up the Dbol at 35-40mg/day.
    Start your PCT two weeks after last injection and consult Anthony Roberts' in the PCT forum. It's the most used here. I usually take it as a base and then regulate myself starting from what I have and what I can afford.

    stick with just one type of test, either e or c, no reason to run both.

    Ok, after much reading I decided upon this:

    Weeks 1-4: D-bol 35 mg ED
    Weeks 1-12:400mgs Test. Cyp. 2 injections per week.

    AR´s PCT:
    Week Nolvadex HCG Aromasin Vitamin E
    1 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20-25mgs/day 1000iu/day
    2 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20-25mgs/day 1000iu/day
    3 20mgs/day 500iu/day 20-25mgs/day 1000iu/day
    4 20mgs/day 20-25mgs/day
    5 20mgs/day 20-25mgs/day
    6 20mgs/day

    If all goes well I will begin this cycle on May 19 2008. Until then I will be rehabbing my knee and maintaining current bw, and trying to hit those numbers on bench and deadlift!
    I´ll try to get everything I need for this cycle now so everything will be ready to rock and roll come May! And many thanks to all who helped me out!
