Well I'm sure you all know I'm new here. What up everybody
I can't seem to get a definitive answer in regards to calcium intake. I understand it's essential. My concern are the health risks. Kidney stones? Can anybody give me a solid answer please?

Should I just avoid calcium completely? Anybody? Noonan?
Why do u want to use it as a supplement? The recommended dose for males 19-50years old is up to 1000mg.If u are taking too much calsium potential side effects are:nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, stomach pain, thirst, dry mouth, increased urination and possible kidney damage.
thanks for replying. I'm new to proper dieting intake, and I'm new to what vitamins are important; and I'm just going on what I read and what I'm told. I was just looking for a straight answer. Stones are what scare me the most. Which is why I was reluctant to take that much of it. I was also told calcium is great for muscle repair.
The best way to get calcium in diet is to eat sardines. No side effects, just positive benefits. They are soft boned so all is eaten. Tons of calcium, protein, vit d, and EFA's, best canned in extra virgin olive oil
