    enough cardio???

    i work an office job. is 45 min of cardio enough for the day if the rest of the day is pretty much sitting at a desk? i dont want to lose muscle, just burn fat?

    Yeah you should be fine with that.

    You can also break up your cardio into to 20 minute sessions once early once late. To get the benefit of two peroids of increased adrenaline production.

    raise it to 60 min then if you feel you need more.

    I would say do a 45-60 min bout of cardio at least once bc you start burning free fatty acids at the thirty min mark. That's the main goal so it makes since. I'm a exersice science major with a minor in bio if you have any ? Just pm me I'll be glad to share my knoweledge. U can do it I was once 300 now 220 with abbs

    Free fatty acids are burned throughout exercise. The proportion of calories being burned from fat changes for the positive during steady state exercise. There is no magical number of minutes were one starts burning fat. All energy systems are being used during exercise.
