But most people would be able to tell if they lost muscle mass. I record my exercises and weights every time I go to the gym (as do some of my friends). If there was any loss in muscle mass, you would see your weights drop, or notice it being much more difficult to lift the weight you are supposed to be doing.
But yes, I wouldn't recommend T3 either for the thread starter. Not only is the rebound an issue, but being someone who used to weigh over 400lbs, I used to think "well if I take X, Y, or Z, I can cheat a little with my diet". I used to put too much hope into the supplements. It wasn't until I stopped with all the supplements, made a strict diet and exercise plan and stuck to it, did I finally drop 180lbs.
