    Lose the Gut

    hi guys,

    sorry if this is in the wrong section or if it has been asked 100's of times, I have tried to search but not found what I'm looking for.

    I see a lot of really cool pic's here & want to get in shape like some of you but I still have a bit of a gut, nothing BIG or flabby but it's there, I realize that if I do 100's of situps this will NOT make much of a difference because all the muscle will be behind the flab..... can anyone recommend anything on how I can start getting the tummy toned up ?

    diet and cardio. tons of cardio. Im in the same boat

    You got it, cardio is a big factor. New Kid, why don't you post your current diet, your stats including age height weight and work out schedule and we'll see what we come up with for ya.

    Thanks for the replys guys

    I'm 5ft 7, 29, 61KGs, (so a skinny guy with a gut, not attractive)

    I go to the gym mon, wed, fri, & my workout are as follows

    Monday - warmup on cross-trainer for around 5mins, this burns around 50 calories, then I workout on my Chest, & Arms.

    Wednesday - same warmup on cross-trainer for around 5mins, then workout on back, shoulders & deltoids.

    Friday warmup on cross trainer, and work on legs, triceps.

    I know now reading this that I don't seem to be doing a lot of cardio work, but reading other forums and posts, Im trying to eat as much as possible to bulk up.

    see this post I started, a few people viewed it but no replys, this includes my usual eating habbits.
