    morning cardio myth???

ok i know about 90% of people on here will swear the optimum time for cardio is before you eat breakfast. Ive read that there are no scientific studies to support or oppose this claim.

if anyone has any intelligent opinions on this possible myth could they post them.

The theory is with your glycogen stores depleted from fasting overnight your body will be forced to dip into it's fat cells for energy sooner than other times of the day. The total calories burnt will not be any greater just a larger ratio of them will be from fat. it would be interesting to read some scientific literature to see exactly how true this is. I am guessing there is some way to measure fat oxidation versus glycogen expenditure.
