    Stomach vaccum frequency question

Should the tranversus abdominus muscle be treated like most all other muscles that are trained with weights and 'given enough to rest and build'? Or can this muscle be worked daily by doing stomach vaccum exercises, kind of like the way you might use your legs doing cardio...low impact like walking a few miles or something?

Is it best to have the transversus abdominus muscle feeling 100% before doing more stomach vaccum exercises or can you gain benefit from doing them daily even if there is slight soreness from the day prior?

I personally like to hold my stomach in whenever Im up and about. Now it is second nature and my abs are always tight without even thinking about it. Just takes practice holding your guts(insides) in

if i remember correctly, it is holding your stomach in as far as possible for a few seconds. then let go, then repeat for a certain amount of times. Try and imagine touching the front of your stomach to your spine.

I"m gonna go find the youtube link of a dude who is well trained in this exercise and you can see for your self what one can do. This muscle is majorly overlooked in workout routines and if you care about tight abs it can make a big difference.

This is the results of what one can do if you train stomach vaccum. When his abs are sucked waaay in that is the exercise. You exhale all the way and lift up your chest then suck in like him and hold it for like 20 seconds. Then repeat and repeat and repeat.

If that link doesn't work go here:

and click the second one down titled Stomach Vacuum Improved. You might have to register and then confirm your 18 by clicking some button to watch it (no sex content though).

I skimmed this and it looks like a decent article about the pro's of doing this exercise, as well as the how to's.
