    Question Back to Basics

Ok, so im gonna take a week off for vacation and once i get back, i want to start a new routine using mostly compound exercises only. im thinking MWF with 2 compound lifts each day revolving around deads, squats, bench, ohp, bent row, etc. how does doing two main compound lifts with 2 warm-up sets, then 3 working sets of 5; then doing maybe one accessory excercise(curls, tricep extensions, lateral raise, etc.) for 1-2 sets of 10-15 sound? im going for strength gains primarily, but adding a few pounds would be nice too. im 19, 6" 190, BF% ?. ive been lifting seriously for the past 3+ years doing alot of volume and overtraining. sorry for the long post, i just wanted to get it all out there. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

do you want to increase your bench, squat deadlift etc... like powerlifting training or just get more mass using compound lifts

here recently ive been reading up on DC training. but it's pretty confusing trying to figure out which 3 exercises to pick and when to schedule them into the right days for adequate recovery. ive narrowed it down to a 3 day bulking routine composed of mostly compound lifts, and DC training. anyone got an opinion on which one would be better. thanks.
