    Low-Test and Life

I've been living with super low-test for roughly two years now. I had bloodwork initially, but my doctor wanted to MRI before prescribing test. As my insurance does not cover the high costs of an MRI, I declined and just lived with it.
I'm sick of having no energy and looking horrible and being weak, and want to correct things on my own if my doctor won't.
I'm 6'0 and not the huge, muscular type of person who normally would use test to get past theiy genetic limits, but I think my low test makes drugs a viable option.
What do you guys recommend doing? Are the oral cycles or "light" cycles I could start out with?
    Thanks

    165lbs
    15%?
Diet - high protein, clean, nutrient timing, etc
Training - 3-4 years; very little in terms of good progress due to low test

Dude.. at that age your test levels are still growing. If you had really low test you would be like 130 pounds not 165.

if you do have low test, then you need to replace it WITH test , not orals

a single long ester test would be a good start

They're super low though. And I'm not a built 165. I've gained muscle relatively slowly while friends of mine have made much better progress.
Would testosterone used to increase to normal levels have any side effects such as stunting growth, prostate cancer, etc?

There are always potential side effects with gear...sadly most MD's are clueless about steroids...just follow what the Doc instructs you to do...if he moniters your bloodwork any potential serious sides can be prevented or treated.

Like I said, I wouldn't be doing it with a doctor's supervision because he won't treat me unless I get an MRI which is not covered by my insurance.

There are many hormone replacement clinics out there who will prescribe with an MRI. Your problem is your only 25. That means you may have a glad issue. Get it checked out.

Sorry 21. Which is way to young to have such low test level. If i was u I'd be concerned about a lot more than just muscle mass and strength. You could have some serious problems down the road. Are you taking and medications that lower test?

I didnt have to have a friggen MRI to be put on my TRT.... what would be the purpose of it?? They just saw my levels were low and gave me a supplement to make them normal.. IE - Testosterone Cypionate...

If your diet is in check, you get your body fat down you may raise your test levels that way. I would look into every other possible solution before making a decision to go on trt for life! Just my 2 cents.

I meant prescribe with out an MRI. Typo. The purpose of the MRI is to check if the pituitary gland has abnormalities. It is standard procedure for low test in young males to do an MRI.

    No meds currently.

What are my options in terms of raising test other than HRT or test. cyp?
Are there orals that could work? And HCG maybe to restart my stuf?
