    Question Traps


    can you work your traps eod with your work outs?

    I wouldn't work any major muscle group that often, assuming you want new growth.

    Mine usually get hit twice a week. Once on shoulder day (albeit inadvertently), then on my so called "vanity" day, which is basically biceps, triceps and traps at the end of my w/o week.

    once a week for me. sometimes with back other times with shoulders.

    I have also always done mine only once a week.

    Look into adjusting your rep scheme and how you perform the reps. See if you can watch any videos of Charles Glass training Flex Wheeler.

    Lean slightly forward, roll shoulders back a bit BEFORE you begin to rep, not roll you shoulders while you do reps and focus in on the traps, not so much the weight. Also utilize static holds with slower reps which helped me put a bit of size on them this year.

    This is another exercise that I lowered the weight on, got more of a mind muscle connection and made progress

    Sometimes with back and when I change training I do it with shoulders!

    I work mine once a week, but they get worked another time inderictly when I do SLDL on leg day.

    As DSM said, deads will develop big traps.
