Anybody in CT, NY or Western Mass?

I just moved to Waterbury CT and I'm lookin for a good gym to call home. The ones I've looked at are not for me. Too many tredmills lol. If anyone lives in the area and has any advice for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. I also live in long island half the time so anyone in the tristate area please help.

I am in Huntington. Look up locations for NYSC, La Fitness and Equinox for gym locations. Equinox is probably is like a Bentley, then NYSC is a nice BMW and La Fitness is a nice mustang inrealtion to what you get. I mean Equinox has friggin people waiting beside the cardio machines to give you towels and they personally clean the machines once your done for you. But I like NYSC.......good scenery there too.......

**** if you are looking for a good gym which isnt all treadmilled out you have a few choices, im in NY and in long island you can go to Titans in bellmore.. good machines also boxing ring - they have a gym in plainview too, not too far from mass ... world gym in huntington .. these are more "work out and get your shit done gyms" not an all around "bentley" type place like the above mentioned gyms.. personally i train at the new planet fitness, mainly cause t he price was outstanding..and my funds werent there to go elsewhere... but ive trained at titans, survival and synergy in farmingdale(24hs as is planet)
Are you looking for a small meat head type gym>? lol

Golds Gym is great in Deer Park and Islip. Deer Park is great for those who are serious about lifting and want 24 hours. Islip is more of a sports club but they have alot of free weights and machines. One of the trainers there took 2nd Mr Olympia in 98.
