Any vets out there know why Grits are better than W. Potatoes on a bulking diet? I'm new to the idea of Grits in my diet... never even had them before.

A forum member recommended it, here is the thread; http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=393508.
Is that incorrect by chance? It just threw me off when it was said that, 'instant grits' were available - I don't like the idea of instant food so... I'm just wondering the major difference between the two foods and the effect it would have.
I.E. Higher carbs, etc.
Good recommendation to try for a month then - and see if it has a positive effect or would replacing it with w. potatoes be the smarter move?grits are pretty high GI(meaning they cause an insulin spike), which can be harnessed if used properly to give a minute advantage PWO
i know your asking about white potatoe and grits.
but there are sources if you like which would be good.
sweet potatoe
brown rice
basmati rice
lentils
beans
oats
Alright, thanks guys. Good advice as always.
