    Tricep exercise...

its like a bench press but your lying on the floor....with the bar racked on the outside of the power rack.....so you do a press but you can only go to the floor elbows/triceps touch floor...then back up.....so it takes the chest out of the movement.....i supose its a half bench press...on the floor LOL

any way ive been doing these and i really like them......

Powerlifters use this excercise in the Westside method in max effort day to train strength of bench press.

its a great exercise for your triceps.....it feels really good doing them aswell..and you can go pretty heavy....not like skull crushers....they feel awkward for me.....

floor presses. The idea is to remove the myostatic stretch from the bottom of the lift, placing more load on the target muscles.

i do something similar on chest day to help improve my bench, really hits tri's too.
i use the smith machine and go half way down then back up, get quite a good pump.
