    Bench press.

Any tricks to increase your bench press. I have been stuck on 405 for a while now. If you could give a few tips on a few things i can do increase my bench press. I would appreciate it!

figure out what muscle group fails (is the weakest) first during your bench press, then focus on that muscle group

What are your current stats? 405 is nothing to be ashamed of!!! Not only do you have to look at what part of your chest is failing you, but also what routine are you using for shoulders, and tri's? They play a huge part in your bench......

Have you ever tried isometrics? Find the point in your bench where you most frequently fail to complete the lift. Then put on some light weight (225ish), and instead of doing normal reps, touch your chest and then pause the weight at the point of failure for 3-5 seconds, and try to do 8-12 reps. After doing this for a few weeks you'll be able to blast heavier weight right out of that sticking point.

You could go to the powerlifting forum and plan a good strength program. Hope it helps.

Kevin Levrone used 4x4 and added 10 pounds each workout. Seemed to work for him. I think he trained bench 2 or 3 times pr week, not sure.

Yes but that man was a machine!!!!! Plus the amount of "supps" he was using explains the 10lbs a work-out increase....That is not a normal amount to increase each work-out........That is super power stuff......

I truly believe Kevin is clean. He took a drug test to prove it. Its not like he started at max capacity on his bench.
