Lots of cardio and a good diet.
I like weighted crunches(machine and universal) and leg raises.
Incline sit ups
Leg lifts
Then throw in some crunches on whatever machine is available.
I try to get 3 sets in of each exercise, making a total of 9 sets when it's said and done.
Also, some core exercises like the plank are good to throw in as well.
x2!!!
Also I believe for ab training a lot of people think that more is better so they will do tons of ab work everyday of the week. Abs are muscles as well as the other muscle groups that need time to recover.
I would train my abs 2-3 times/week using a good/strict form to get the most out of it.
But first and foremost; diet and cardio ( like Redz said )!!!
As people have been saying cardio and diet, I use weighted ab excersises as well so they will be more defined and show at higher a BF%.
"I don't wanna loose too much weight" that makes 0 sense, you don't wanna loose fat? but you want abs?
do ur cardio first thing in the morning immediatly following a whey shake... 30-45mins 3-4 times aweek
&
abs resistance training 2-3 times a week
imo that applies more to carbs b4 cardio, the whey would offset the catabolism and if your body is accustomed to using carbs for fuel the protien wont be used as a fuel so much
thats how i do it anyway, and my results are great
but yes to really shred fat empty stomach is better

i do know that is better to do it on an empty stomach, i just prefer not to. i want to stop the catabolism asap
gazbrum big session tomorrow mate get in there on the chest![]()
I remember reading a piece on this in MD a while back. There was an advantage to doing the morning cardio on an empty stomach but it was not a huge advantage. But, if you're trying to bring your body to an extreme degree of conditioning, you may need that advantage.
Exactly...it might only make a minor bit of difference and if you are trying to get to 8-10% bodyfat it will probably never matter. For guys looking to get leaner than that you need to take advantage of every possible edge you can get. Have always done mine empty stomach.
You don't look like you have a problem in your conditioning Fireguy1. For me, it's easy to gain size, but getting into that extreme condition has always been tough.
ye big session tomoro mate , thanks for replys guys gonna take these into consideration![]()
