    Best Guesstimate

Feet 3 feet off the ground what percentage of body weight are you lifting when you do push up? (About waist level on a 5'10 person)

I know standard with feet on the ground is like 70% so I am this has to be in the 80% range if not a little more?

Also in other push up related news, Herschal Walker claims he still does 750-1500 a day. Buying that or not? He was famous for doing obscene amounts (allegedly 1500 a day) back when he was playing. Also like 2500 sit ups a day.

a regular push up is 65-80 percent of body weight..

and movement of the feet up or down will change that, but body type and hand placement have too much to do with it for me to guess past that..

i have been military over 8yrs, i have played and tested push ups the whole time.

Well if your feet being straight up in the air at 6 feet is 100% (obviously), at 3 feet I am thinking it has to be in between the 70% ( I read that is the number with feet on the ground) and 100%.

What would hand placement have to do with the %?? Are you talking about width or something else?

well what i mean for hand placement is where in the down position your hands are. some like their hands striaght out from their shoulder, some chest, me personally the heel of my hand is just below the nipple line.

and percent will change on body type, avg body type the weight is spread out.. somebody with a tiny waste and alot of muscle up top with have more weight over their hands and less rocked back on the feet... somebody with a fat belly and no muscle up top would have more weight rocked back on their feet..
