Speaking of plates though. I watched this Rusian kid today at my gym. Big kid maybe early 20s. 6ft, 250, barrel chest but the strong man stomach also.
He loaded up the bench with 4 45lb on each side. Im thinking he is going to move it 2in, bad form etc. Nope. He pumps off 6+ reps full movement, good form, slow steady reps. Very impressive. He was doing 220+ lbs with the late pulls also with good form.
I dont like the build of the strong man type with the belly but to each his own. The kid is going to be a monster.

He probally did those 'rock bottom' squats with about 200lbs. That is my warmup. And the fact that this video involves a headband, bar pad and joint wraps.... it just leads to FAIL
LOL. Well, today the most I squatted was 275 x 8. Both of my quads are sore as shit from pinning

Well, if you go too low, you can damage your knees. Thats why I stopped doing deep squats.
