    Cardio questions

    Is it ok to do HIIT cardio for 20-25 mins after working out with weights, heavy? What about doing it for the same amount of time first thing in the am on empty stomach?

    If you split your cardio and weight training how long is it best to wait between the two? Would empty stomach am cardio followed by a pro/carb meal and then 2 hours later weight training and that followed by cardio be over training?

    You have to do whatever works for you. Trial and error first always works for me.

    Personally, I have a crazy schedule so Ill make it simple; if you can do 2 cardio sessions then do L.I.in the morning and then HIIT after training. If you go this route I would have pro/fats after am cardio and pro/carbs after weights/HIIT cause youll need it.......just my 2 cents........

    Fireguy might do the same thing like this but you might want to ask him.....

    well I have read that you should split cardio and weights by up to 6-8 hours??
