at what doseage of test enth start "working?

i was thinking about getting some "test enth" after about 8 months of training. so, i was wondering if 150mg/week would even be worth taking? if not what about 250/week? reason being is..i had a training partner that was pretty weak for most of the time he worked out with me. then, all a udden..he started "closing in" on me. i finally asked him what was up and he said he was taking 150mg/wk and it was really working great.

he then dissapeared and i started working out with a GIANT and he finally got to trust me enough to talk to me about his "supplement" use and i asked him about my buddie's dose..he claimed that my ex-training partner was full of shit and was a

kerry said that the dose would need to be more like 500mg/week before you would start to see anything.

so, now im around people(yall) and figured i could get a better understanding of doseage required for REAL gains.

500mg/week is the typically recommended first cycle. I've known guys that made nice gains off as little as 300mg/week, that's near the bottom threshold for average.

Def need to get that BF% down quite a ways first before running any compound. Have you fixed your diet yet?

Like Big said, a pic would help too.

Very good. Just remember, try to keep the shakes to a minimum and get as much real food in you as possible.

If you had no issue with waiting, the standard is about 12%. This is because of the increase health risks you can encounter with a higher BF and running steroids. Heart issues are the biggest concern.

I got acne about week 5 into my first cycle. It SUCKED! I grew all this beautiful muscles but I couldn't take my shirt off because I was covered in acne. I used sustanon 250 on my first cycle. I didn't know better at the time. Now I know a lot more. Test e great for first cycle because if something happens you know exactly what's causing the problem. Mixing compounds like sustanon 250 on the first cycle it's difficult to troubleshoot if there's a problem. My buddy cycled at 23% body fat. He got gyno. He did the exact same cycle as me but I got nothing and he got bad gyno. Forest Gump? Cycling is like a box of chocolates. You never know what sides you're gonna get until you cycle.

    not ready

i agree sorry but your not ready for the juice you need to be at your maximum potential and when you think you just cant get any better then add the juice and watch the gains come in waves of happieness.

you've already got good thickness, once you cut down you will actually look much bigger than you are now. you've got broad shoulders so once you get your waist thin you will have a nice v taper.

I lost 25 lbs eating 1600 cals per day and didn't do any cardio. Just lifted 3 times.

BTW, in my avatar I am about 26% fat so take it as comparison if you wish. I am still too fat as well and am on another cut to get down to 12%.

with an intake of only 1600 cal's...didnt you lose a bit of mucle? i figured that would be a tad low to keep your size on...idk, maybe im wrong as a wet fart ;-)

I tend to agree. 500mg per wk is a good range. In my early years I made great gains in my early years at 250mg per wk.

I didn't lose much Lean body mass (LBM). I was in the same boat as you. Not lifting for like 7 years, had 3 kids, got up to 205 lbs.

After 6 months of dieting I lost 25 lbs, but there was some platues in there. Further, I made constant strength gains the whole time.

BTW the diet at first HURTS, but once you get used to it you drop fat off. 3-4 lbs per week at first easy. Just eat a normal viariet of foods, NO SODA pop. I am a sugar freak so that held me back a bit. I ate about 100+ g of protein per day is all.

PS there is a huge difference between 35% and 26% BF.

I owuld say drop some fat then hit the juice and build up without gaining fat. Start today. Use livestrong.com to track calories, VERY important.

hard to say how long it will take, the main thing is to stay dedicated, stay consistent, and don't get discouraged.
