Natural Fundamentals (what seems to have worked for me)

i am 20 years old, been training for 3 yrs now.
in the beginning i wasn't eating enough, nor was i focused towards bodybuilding.
and as i am typing this, i can say i made substantial/slow gains. Compared to other guys = very slow nd sucky

i started as 110 pound, 5'9 lanky teenager. i used to play sports, was strong but not that physically impressive.
    mistakes i made were common:
    1. Lifting too heavy
    2. Not enough rest between sets
    3. Overtraining.
    4. not eating enough.

today i am 168 pounds. mind u, i did want to use steroids, but didn't use them because.
    1. afraid of needles
    2. didn't know where to get them in india (companies here export)
    3. trainer who recommended a cycle, himself got liver failure, and became frail in a span of 2 months.

so then i wanted to share my fundamentals that were forming my journey nd i m still continuing on.

    workout like HIT
    1. not more than 1 hr duration.

    2. warm up is only 5 mins cardio (i m ecto, so sometimes 10min)

    3. specific day workout, say chest/triceps, will workout the muscle with one compound exercise with 4 sets, and two isolated exercises each 3 sets.

    4. how much i m lifting, does not matter. i have to get slight failure by 6 reps, and then do 4 more reps.

    5. suppose i m doing biceps or any other muscles, the contracting part of the rep is fast, followed by a forced slow negative, by slowly releasing the contraction.

6.no matter what day it is, if i am in the gym, i do 10 sets of 6reps pullups. because at the beginning of april this year, one guy mocked me for not being able to do a single pullup. so that was my weak point. so i did 10 sets of 1 barely-a-rep.

using the same principles i vary my workout, every two weeks. if i don't, my body adapts and then it keeps me from improving in certain areas. like one time, i could lift 25 pounds front delt raise, and my biceps could only lift about 15 pounds. i dunno if u people have strength differences, but this really made me think "if i can't lift a girl with my arms, i m gonna angle so that i do it with my delts".
and when i improved my biceps, delts bulged more, with no real strength improvements.

like now every workout for me, is like, repeating high school fight with the bully. u r tense, u r heart pumps, u cannot predict whats happening, u r focused on the fight and that hot chick that is staring at u. lol kid.
Like i make sure i don't get used to any workouts.

rule of thumb 4 me, if u r able to finish a workout, nd not pray to god 4 mercy. u r not working out.

though i m no way in the army, it feels like that with my workout buddy who trains me. he has a far superior body then me. if i don't do my bench press properly, he slaps me in the stomach hard. i fear him, but also respect him a lot, nd lol outside the gym, he is probably the most playful and simple guy u
    will ever see.

whew, i probably have deviated off to my own world. oops, my bad.
my diet is probably the most relaxed, but i eat clean, and enough 4 now.
thanks, i hav been a bore, but i wanted to vent something out.

    Peace \,,/,

(i hav put my pics, 3yrs ago an asian i had an extremely large head compared to my body.)
(since my body grew, i now have moderately large head, but it looks way cool now)
    I love proportions!
