    Thanks guys, that look was only good enough for 4th place. Overall I was pretty happy with my conditioning, judges said they want to see more size on my legs.

    It was his first show, I was talking to him after prejudging and he knew he was in way over his head. He should have picked something much smaller to start out with.

    I've seen guys on stage who looked nothing close to the other guys, but what you dont see is where that guy came from. Some guys like that have lost over 100 lbs to get to that point. My hats off to him. You look great too fireguy!!

    Yep, I can bring them out on my front lat spread but I have to drop my chest some to do it. (same with front double bi) I also have a tendency to let my core relax too much in transition from pose to pose.

    same problem i have. dropping chest to get the abs squeezed enough. the downside of a long torso

    abs and chest looked great in the side pose a whole lot better than the competion; more defined by far. i have read a lot the old bodybuilders up to mid 80's say the front lat spread can be the most misleading pose for judges and i can see why you looked great in the other poses (not that it was bad by no means) good luck and thanks for the inspiration. and nice to see ya didn't throw the pale guy under the bus; shows a lot of character bro.
