Skinny guy needs advice on lifting techniques to increase mass and apetite

Ive hit an standstill as far as gaining extra mass is concerned and was looking for the best way to lift for my size.

    Stats:
30yrs old, 9 stone, 5ft7", muscular build. Not sure body fat but it must be low. I have a 6 pack if that gives you an idea.

I love the shape i have but just want to get bigger by lifting properly and changing my diet to accomodate growth.

Here how I currently lift for eg barbell flat bench press:

    1. I lift 1 warmup set with a medium light weight and 2 real sets.
    2. For 1st real set I lift the heaviest weight I can for appoximately 8 reps before failing. I go down slow and lift up faster until failure.
    3. The 2nd real set i use the same weight but this time attempt to lift as may reps as i can possibly do. I usually fail halfway through the 5th/6th rep.
Thats it for the day for that excercise.
    4. The next week comes and I start with that same weight again. This time on the 1st real set I only attempt the lift 8 of the weight I ended with last time and then move onto the 2nd real set.
5.On set 2 now i attempt to lift as many reps as possible of that weight. Last week I failed on 5/6 reps but if this week I can lift 8 or 9 I know I have to increase weight next week and will increase by 1kg usually so i dont overdo it.
    6. If on the 2nd real set if I fail at 5/6 reps again then I keep at that weight until the next week again until i can lift it 8/9 times on set 2.

    My current training regeime is:
    Monday - Legs/Abs
    Wednesday - Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
    Friday - Biceps/Back/Forearms
    Saturday - Light Cardio

Any advice to change the way i lift?

I don't see a problem with ur lifting. What I can suggest is changing up the exercises you do every month or two, I don't know how many kilos are in a stone so I don't know how big you are, what supplements are you taking and how many calories do u eat per day and how many carbs protein and fat??

As far as suppliments go I have a protein shake twice a day and thats it at the moment. I have tried loads of stuff though like Animal Stack etc but none of it really made a difference.

How should an average days eating go for somebody like myself. I have listed a typical day below:

breakfast - chicken pasty or roll
lunch - chicken or beef with rice
    early evening - protein shake
dinner - healthy mix of meat, veg and carbs
    before bed - protein shake

I dont do injections but will give B12 a shot. Are there any sides associated with it?

if you arent injecting the b12 you shouldnt have any bad side effects, as for being 130lbs the only think i can suggest to you is eat eat eat, then eat some more

Ok an update for you all. I have the Periactin and have been taking 1 4mg pill a day. Its been 1 week and iv put on 3lbs. Thats the most iv ever put on before. As as iv been training its nearly all in lean gains so im so happy with this stuff. This is the best. Iv struggled all my life to eat more and this is the business. I never have a good breakfast but am regularly eating a large bowl of oats with nuts and 2 eggs which is great for me. Im really happy with this stuff as you can see. Its really does work! 3lbs in 1 week for me seems like a miracle , trust me. If your skinny and have trouble with eating or appetite get it asap.

I weighted 133 now Im 155 in just under 6 weeks I eat and eat. After each main meal. I drink a mass gainer shake that adds a extra 800 calories each time I drink one. Im using true mass by BNC with milk as of right now) You have to drink this right after you eat or you will not be hungry agian when your next meal time comes. On top of that I eat a pretty good size snack between each meal. It wasn't easy at first. My body didn't want that much food. Give a week or 2 and just really force your self, then it just becomes normal and your not forcing your self to eat because your just soo hungry all the time and if you don't eat your snacks and drink your shakes your stomach starts eating into its self because your so hungry. You stomach will stretch to allow more food. Also look into a creatin cycle that will help boost your weight for a bit and help out with strenght at the gym.

if u think 3 lbs is nice, get on a good cycle and try 30 or 40 lbs on 4 size

Do not advise something like this, with his weight he can clearly put on alot more weight naturally, than have a much more productive cycle.

    If the thought is there.

doesn't look like you're eating enough to make the gains you're after. i think you should head to the diet & workout sections and post a thread with both of your current plans. the fellas over there are extremely helpful and with get you well on your way to making solid gains. (if you follow their advice)
IMO you should get up to 200lbs before thinking about AAS. Push your body as far as possible before even thinking about a cycle. In the mean time... read read read!!

Best of luck to you bro
